Somewhere on the road less traveled

I am a 34 year old who recently retired, sold my home and possessions and bought an RV so I can travel America. Please come along on my adventure by following me here. Enjoy.

June already...

...where does the time go? We have been staying busy here at the lodge. Sean our cook, and Ben our maintenance guy are back from there month off and we are getting ready for a group to come in on Tuesday. After them we have about a ten day break then we pretty much go back to back with groups till the end of July. Should be fun and definitely will make the weeks fly by. I will be flying back to Florida for my next ortho visit on June 11th but will only be there until the 13th so it will be a quick visit. For those of you who emailed or called about "somebody from the Army" looking for me thank you for the info and I want to say that we have exchanged emails. Baxter is a guy I was an MP with at Fort Carson, Co. it seems like a lifetime ago. He is a deputy in Collier, Fl now and I look forward to catching up with him. Well I found my camera and as promised here is a picture of my friend Colleen and I. It is before we went to dinner at the place I mentioned. I thought I had some pics of where we camped but I guess not since there were none on my card. Have to take my word for it that it was quite a nice spot. I am hoping to get back out for at least on trip this month and then some more in August. In September I will be going to Missoula, Montana for two weeks for some courses at Rocky Mountain School of Photography. I'm excited about that for sure. Well gonna run now but June 2nd my buddy John or "T-rex" is turning 36 so if you know him make sure you wish him a Happy Birthday. Do it early though because I'm sure at his age he'll be going to sleep early. Take care, Jim
