What a day...

...I am having! Woke up this morning to snow on the ground and no work today because of the weather. Went back to sleep and then decided in the afternoon to head into Thief River Falls to hit the Walmart for a few things. Pulled out of the parking lot to head back home and the truck quit. The guage says I have a quarter of a tank so I have no idea what it could be. Thankfully after needing a tow in Tn. I had decided to get an emergency roadside assistance plan so I gave them a call. Long story short the truck is now at the Ford dealer and I am at the Best Western. A decision on when the beet operation would be starting back up isn't going to be made until noon Friday so I have a little time. Hopefully I will be able to get back in time not to miss any work. The motel is nice. It has a dining room and a lounge so I won't have to venture far for dinner which is good since it is below freezing outside and the wind is blowing 30 miles an hour. Don't really want to wander around outside if I don't have to since I am really not dressed for it nor do I have any clothes with me. Gonna look funny sitting in the restuarant with my stocking hat on but it beats the alternative which is hair everywhere! Can't help but laugh about it. Well gonna run down to the front desk and get a toothbrush and toothpaste then it's off to dinner. I do have pics of the snow and I will get them up when I can. Take care, Jim
