Lookout Mtn. is right!!

Well hello all. I am sitting here in my camper in a Wallmart parking lot in Clarksville, Tn. communicating with the world. Very cool and amazing. I had a great day of travel today. Beautiful weather and light traffic- can't beat that combo. I drove to the top of Lookout Mtn. today to sightsee and eat lunch. Very gorgeous views down into the valley where Chattanooga is. It is named the way it is dating back to the civil war when it was a key surveillance and signalling post. I have decided to call it Lookout Mtn. for a different reason however. After driving up a very narrow, steep, winding road I managed to back into a telephone pole while trying to park! The good news is I believe at this point my mountain bike bravely took one for the team as I did not find any damage to the camper. The bike is going to need a new back rim and tire and probably a sprocket as well but I really don't mind as it could have been worse. After it happened I really didn't freak out at all. Got out and looked at it kinda went oh well guess I'm learning, made myself a sandwich and sat in the shade on a stone wall looking down the valley and really enjoyed my lunch. No use freaking out at that point I suppose. All in all a great day. I am on target to be up outside of Cleveland on Thursday so hopefully no more excitement of the crunching kind. Till then I will be safe and a little more cautious when I 'm in reverse. Take care, Jim Ps- I had already pulled forward off the pole at this point. Sweet spot though right.?!
