Been a very busy couple of weeks...
...for me here at the lodge. On the 26th of August we started a roof project which we did not finish until the the 6th of September. We basically took all the old roofing off of the back side of the lodge from one end to the other and reroofed it all. Hard work and it was hot but it went really well and looks quite nice now. Since then it's just been really busy in the office getting ready for the last groups of the summer and getting the winter reservations set up. We've started with the lift ticket orders and Jeannine is getting the winter staff hired so things have been hectic. The first of them should be here the 1st of November so it will be fun meeting the new crew. I am very excited to be heading out to Montana this Friday. The courses I am taking start on Saturday evening and will go for two weeks. For those who don't know I am taking a couple of course at Rocky Mountain School of Photography. The school is in Missoula and I'm hoping to get up to Glacier National Park on the day I have between courses. No matter what I will be in some beautiful country and I am looking forward to that. The weather has started to change here so I'm thinking as far north as I will be it might be almost winter for some of my stay. It won't be long till it is here. Tonight is supposed to drop into the 30's and I think it will since it was 42 at 9 pm. Feels so crisp and clean--I love it. Can't wait for the first snow. Anyway I will definitely post from Missoula and let you all know how things are going. Can't wait to be there. Take care, Jim

Send some cool-ness down here! It's so hot evry day and every night. I can't fathom it getting to 30 degrees during a September!
I hope you have a fantastic time in Montana, soak in the learning and the sites.
