Memorial Day weekend...
...and a beautiful one it has been. I was off for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday which was quite nice. My friend Colleen came into town for a visit and we went camping up in the national forest. This trip was exactly why I bought the truck camper. We were able to drive a dirt road about 35 minutes up into the forest and stay in a sweet spot by a stream with no one else around. We hiked a bit and had a big old campfire (a given if I'm there) and had a nice time catching up. It had been about three and a half years since we had seen each other so we had a lot to fill each other in on. I'll get a picture up as soon as I find my little camera. I know it's here just not sure where. We also had dinner Saturday night at a place here in Winter Park that I had been wanting to try and man was it good. It's a small place thats modeled after a place in the Virgin Islands and the food was amazing! Worked about a half day today and then I'm meeting some friends for dinner tonight to celebrate a birthday. Should be nice. Hope you all are having a great weekend and enjoying time with family and friends. I also want to thank anyone who has served in the military or is currently serving. We would not have the freedoms we do today without you so thank you! Take care all and be safe, Jim

Jim, now that I've taken a look at some of your posts that include photos, I have confirmed that I know you. You haven't changed a bit, brother. Think back to your Army days. Those days seem to all be a blur to me with the exception of names and faces of a few. You probably don't remember me, or maybe you do. The name is J. Baxter. I look forward to hearing from you if you have time to shoot me an e-mail. It's baxter_pk@yahoo.com
In the off chance you (Jim) don't read this, could someone that knows how to reach Jim let him know I'm trying to get in touch with him? Thanks, and be safe out there on the road.
