Well I'm glad today is April 2nd...

...because if it was the first no one including me would believe what happened. Today while driving to the library I got in an accident. With a police officer. On duty in his patrol vehicle. And it was his fault. That's right I got hit by a cop on the passenger side rear of my truck. I am fine but definitely had a good laugh about it (after I got the report done and drove away). Talk about things you never think will happen and for me that was one. Got to meet the chief when he came out to take the report and he was very nice, as was the officer who hit me. So now I get to replace both rear fenders on my truck. One out of my own pocket (refer to 3/30/07 post) and the other the Winter Park Police Department pays for. I think it will just be the fender but we will see. He hit right on my rim but the truck drove ok after so I hope it is ok. What a couple of days though! Never really believed in the theory of things happening in threes but I have to admit I'm wondering now. Little scared to leave the lodge. Not really but jeez. Other than that things are well and hopefully I won't have any more excitement to share with you all. Looking forward to being in Fl. for a few days here soon, and from the calls I've gotten it seems like some plans are already made for me so it should be fun. Wish me luck till then though.
