Back on the road going....
....North! That's right I am making my way up the eastern edge of Vermont headed for New Hampshire. I plan on going all the up to the very northern tip of the state as it looks like there are some state parks up that way. It is still cold and raining as reported in my last post, but I am still enjoying myself and it is fun being reminded after so long in Fl. that there are actually seasons elsewhere. This picture is from Manchester Vt. from the other day when I was there. It was a neat little village and I enjoyed exploring it. I stayed just outside of Manchester in Dorset at Dorset RV Park which was a beautiful little place. Anyone traveling through that area should keep it in mind.(I have not recieved nor will I recieve any compensation for my endorsement of the park) I had several great conversations with a lady named Dory who is the host at the park. She and her husband have been full timers for three years and she had wonderful stories and great advice for me as I travel. It was my pleasure to meet her. From there I headed south into Massachusets and then Connecticut where I was able to spend some time with my friends Walt and Anita. They are long time RV'ers and are currently trying to decide if fulltiming is for them. They welcomed me into their driveway and we had a great afternoon catching up followed by dinner before we went out for ice cream. Quite a nice day. I took their picture in front of their motorhome so if you see a beautiful Southwind with Ct. plates out there check the picture it might be my friends. It really was kind of them to take me in for the night and feed me a great steak meal so I sincerely thank them and hope to see them on the road next time. That's all for now but if I wind up out of range for a few days you all will know generally where I am at. There are rumors of the sun coming out on Monday so we'll see. Take care for now, Jim

Hi
Want to let you know we truly enjoyed your visit.
Maureen is sorry she didn't get a chance to stop by Friday PM, just couldn't fit it into her schedule.
The Jack & Jill party went pretty well, but it sure was damp and cold. The bride's parents found out we were into RVing and just couldn't ask us enough questions as they were going to look at an RV the next day! We had no problem telling them what a great way it is to travel.
Be safe and feel free to stop by anytime your in the area.
Walt & Anita
